"Your Master is Not Amused."

For I have but one Master and that is the Lord, my God, but He and I are not on good speaking terms at the present moment. I pray for guidance and find none; it feels as though my only saving grace is the sting of the knife against my wrist to draw blood while fingers paint the image of a scorpion taught to protect me. Words whispered quickly and quietly in the dark... yes, these are my protectors as of late.
We shall not speak of the other, for that one, that demon... evil, vile creature that he is, choosing forms to haunt me and seduce me... demon, Lucifer, Satan, devil, fallen one...
He believes he is my Master, and I his Mother of Evil, together coupled to destroy what I love most.

This is the reason that I must never touch Mr. Chandler again. I was foolish in my trust of Mr. Gray, giving in to baser temptations that led to my weakness. Once exposed, the demon entered my body, claimed me, darkness filled my life and even my close comrades could not save me. I destroyed my friendship with Mina once I let lust rule me, a darkness I must always keep in check. But... no. No, I chose selfishness both times, and in both times someone was lost... first Mina, and the second occasion, myself.
As the storm took over the cottage and I was alone with Mr. Chandler recently, we both allowed our lusts to break free as our mouths claimed and conquered. It was I alone who stopped it from continuing - if I had not, I would become a slave to the demon once again. I can only pray Mr. Chandler understands and will be my... friend.

The Almighty is not amused, for the darkness within me grows daily. The demon is not amused for it is not my master, as it believes. I must always remain vigilant and true to the only master that matters at the moment - my own heart.
